Lindsay Lohan has been tagged a put-on by lesbian activists over her unconfirmed relationship with Samantha Ronson.
The actress has angered members of a gay organisation by hinting at a sapphic romance with her DJ brother but not officially �coming out.�
"Celebrities like Lindsay Lohan are just 'Gay for Play' and are attempting to john Cash in on the faddy appeal of lesbianism without any commitment to our cause," says Karen Whittaker of The Centre for Sapphic Studies.
"They never seem to affect past the hand retention and eye gazing phase of the relationship," adds Alice Hensley.
"There's no sentiency these two are really in a commited relationship. If Lindsay would come out and say she's gay and in a commited human relationship with Ronson, then perhaps she could use her media clout for secure for the first time in her life."
The irate group reckons that the Mean Girls actress is giving a bad name to all lesbians scrap for match pay and rights.
"It's the year of 'I Kissed a Girl' for Lohan and dozens of other chicks out there. When Ronson mopes her she'll just peck up the pieces and date a man," says Whittaker.
